Tell Your Senator to Vote for Credit Card Reform

Please sign our petition urging Congress to enact a Credit Card Bill of Rights.

Petition Text

We support strong reforms to credit card company practices including the
following:

Congress should make it illegal to change credit card contract terms for
any reason, including no reason.

Congress should make it illegal to impose penalty interest rate increases on their customers who pay on time, but supposedly made a late payment to some other creditor (universal default).

Congress should protect consumers from credit card company late payment tricks and traps that result in penalty interest rate increases.

Congress should enact rules that require credit card companies to treat young people fairly.
